Mary A. dos Santos has spent more than thirty-five years inspiring a love of language and learning as a high school English and History teacher, and later as a university tutor. A lifelong advocate for the power of reading, she is passionate about helping children, teens, and adults discover the joy and wonder that stories can bring.

Mary holds Master’s degrees in both Education and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), as well as a PhD focused on language and culture in education. Her doctoral research earned her two awards and deepened her appreciation for how stories and language connect people across backgrounds and generations.

Driven by a love for storytelling and a fondness for mystery, Mary weaves together heartfelt tales filled with courage, humour, and hope. She writes creative, entertaining, and uplifting books for children, adventurous chapter books for young readers, suspenseful stories for middle school readers and cozy mysteries for adults. Stories where curiosity meets comfort, and faith and friendship are highlighted.
